Procedures
It's important for your child to be prepared for physical education like for any other class. Please make sure your child is properly dressed and wearing tennis shoes on PE class days. When an entire class is properly dressed, the class will receive a Golden Tennis Shoe Award. When a class achieves 5 Golden Tennis Shoe Awards, the class has the last 10 minutes of class for their choice of activity. We also give an MVP award at the end of each class. This is awarded based on respect and cooperation with classmates and the teacher.
Rules for PE:
No talking while the teacher is talking.
Keep hands, feet, and all body parts to yourself at all times.
Do no touch any equipment unless told to do so.
Respect the teacher, classmates, and youreself at all times.
Consequences:
1st strike: verbal warning
2nd strike: sit out of activity for 5 minutes
3rd strike: phone call or email home and office referral
